When I was a kid in the 80's, I saw an ad somewhere for a book that claimed the book could be cut apart, and glued together into a working clock. I wanted it BAD. I eventually forgot about it.

I just remembered this the other day, and I did some searching. It's still in print! I've got one ordered right now! I paid $16 for it, but after some more searching I found it for as low as $6.

I can't wait to build this stupid thing. Has anybody ever seen this before, or built one?

Well yes, if the clock was originally made of paper like this one is.

    Sounds kind of nifty.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper (and quicker) to just by a small clock?

Yeah, what's the fun in that?

Anyway, I'm going to scan all the pages before I cut them up, in case I make a mistake, or want to build another one.
I've read some reviews of it, and it sounds like the project from hell, but I can't wait to try!
