So I finally saw the leaked Prime pictures for the movie, and personally, I find it badass. After looking at it ,I realized "Hey, I could do a scrawny version of him with my Genereal Grevious figure" sooo I whipped it out (the figure), got some sculpey, some acrylics and a paintbrush, and started on him!

Here's him shabbily painted, keep in mind I'm not an artist like a lot of you on the board. I made him in 2 days.

    That's him unfinished ^^

I took som Sculpey, made new feet, lower legs, some shin guard type things, sculpted his head completely (thats why it looks so...bad), put some sculpey over his lower arms, and some panels on his front and back. I boiled him for about 15 minutes in steaming hot water so the sculpey could easily harden on his body (if I put the figure in the oven, it'd obviusly melt.) I painted him, and here's the *sad* result!

That's cute! I really like it. If nothing else, you did capture the basic look of the character model.

...and hey - you can always claim you had a movie Optimus Prime toy before anybody else did. :D

Hey its Darth Grievious (sp?) Prime. What happens if you rebuild Darth Grievious with some Prime parts and through in the Matrix and *POOF*, Anorexic Prime.

Well, thank you. I tried to get just basic...I'm not one for detail, I've tried, but I just do something subpar and am afraid to go on with it. And you're right, I made the first, but I reallllly can't wait to see some people take apart a Prime and make their own version. Mine was just to pass time. And to ruin Grevious

Hah, thanks. I don't know...something about this Prime catches my eye....Perhaps it's just because I'll buy any Prime, no matter if hes a truck, fire truck, gorilla or whatever else he's been. ^_^

Heh...thanks, colours not as good as it could be.

Tempting, but poor Prime would collapse under his own weight if I tried that. Oh wait, I did make him using Prime parts before

(don't worry, no figures were harmed in the making of that figure)

Thats pretty impressive artistic work. It looks stunningly close to the image. He'll make a nice display piece if nothing else.

Well, thanks on that, don't see how it looks close to the image lol

Although not very Prime-like, I still find it really flippin' cool too!

Thank you! Glad ya like my work :D

I wanted to, but my tools...
    1. one safety pin for creases
    2. paintbrushes
    3. paint
    4. Grevious
    5. Sculpey
    6. Ruler for creasing

As you can see, I'm artistically unprepared, so detail isn't an option for me. Thanks for the comments though!
