So having a vote, and then having BOTCON or TFCC having commit financial resources to making it live only to have them lose money or having it fail is simply unreasonable.

The 2007 sets were entirely sold out.

 

If they let people vote and they vote in Characters like Seaspray and Broadside and such and we get 5 characters which don't appeal to a large group, FP agrees to make them and BAM! no one buys them, FP takes the financial hit.

Letting people vote isn't going to guarantee sale though FP does have a good knack of setting the production run at a number that will sell well to minimize that problem.

I would *LOVE* a Broadside, Seaspray two-pack, but hey...
