Update: I got a message from the winner of the auction I contacted.

Poor guy. I replied, directing him to Elvin's page (full of photos of his original G1 Primes) and sent him a link to the eBay help page on "Item Not Received or Significantly Not as Described" disputes. I also told him about opening a dispute with Paypal. I hope he gets his money back

I got a hold of my eBay guy! He's contacting a friend in the Fraud department. I guess my friend does this too (look for scams), but for Nikes.



Well, I hope all goes well. I got a hold of 2 buyers. 1 is going to file a PayPal dispute, which will freeze the seller's account. The other I'm emailing back and forth with.

Wow that guy is a real ass. I really really really hate seller's like that. It is one thing if it is an honest mistake and you don't know until someone tells you. It is another thing to be informed and not look into but instead insult those trying to inform you and continue to SCAM people!

You have an address on this guy because he is a hop skip and jump away from where I live if he states he lives in Anaheim, California. The ebay name sounds awfully familiar.

 

I don't think you can get an eBay seller's address without either being in a transaction with him or having a dispute with him. If you pay by Paypal, their details are shown then.

 

Bid on one of his items request info and cancel the bid

I hate KOs. This is what KOs were made for and this is what the KO collectors don't understand. And KO collectors are still willing to pay big dollars to dispaly fake toys.

KO's were meant to deliver what Takara couldn't ... a true G1 replica. Like anything in the world (guns, booze, prescription medicine), put in the wrong hands, this happens.
