I love my Reveal the Shield Tracks. Love him to death... though I really think that he needed to be a little thinner. I know there's a lot of mods people have done to make him thinner and taller, but I don't have the tools to carve out some new pieces or slides for him.

The proportions aren't horribly off after the alteration... but what I did also leaves the toy mostly alone. The knees are still messed up from an earlier attempt to alter the toy for a custom figure, but I like it overall.
While I didn't harm the figure, I did wind up taking pieces from a shattered RotF Dune Runner. It's where the miniguns on his shoulders also came from.

As you can see, I just hacked out the plastic around the torso unit of the Dune Runner pieces, and made a second torso to swivel off of. It doesn't add a ton of clearance, but now it looks like his torso is fitted for his height. Thoughts?

Looks great! Does it interfere with Transformation?

Sadly, it does. That little 1/3 inch of plastic prevents transformation, leaving everything spaced out a little more than fits together naturally. As I don't plan to turn him back into car mode, though, it's not a huge deal.
However, I can always pop him back open and take the torso chunk out if I ever want him in car mode again. If I ever do, I'll take some more in-depth pictures. I basically used a wide-base screw forced into the plastic to work as a pivot point for the second torso (abs, I guess?). There's now two points of articulation on the torso, but only one turns without any extra manipulation.

    OUCH!! :(

I haven't played with Wheeljack in a while, so can't remember. Did you modify Tracks's feet?

Good luck with the SCLeadership! :)

I did no modifications to the feet, although I used a tactic I found in an ancient thread here. I used a small loop of tape for the feet to make them no longer floppy and loose.

This makes me think there should/could be a Shapeways part or kit.

Nice work! It does help make him look less stunted.
