I guess the wanna bring him into their comicverse... makes sense, but hardly a storm if thats the case *L* Andy
Maybee this is the belated start of a Cybertron Comic - the storm in question could be the grand black hole - I just hope to hell that they're not going to try to write him in to their G1 continuity - going from a bit of minor character action in Infiltration to Primus in 5 issues is a bit of a step up - I'm thinking a Cybertron mini series or summer special.
Hope a Cybertron mini-series as well. Take everything good from the series and put it in comic format. Possibly 10 comics, 2 for each planet with the final two focussing on the final events...Could be very good indeed.
Sounds like a good idea for a comic run - it's success in my eyes depends entierly on whether or not they included those bloody rugrats. I can put up with them in cartoon form - but in the pages of a comic? Can you say Armada issue 3 anybody?
Are you talking about Primus? I doubt people would be thinking this if not for the recent toy, to be honest... remember that for most of the original series Cybertron is just a planet (albeit with a sentient core towards the end of the comics.) Events on Cybertron (or a huge broadening of the scale of conflict) is what the pic suggests to me... Isn't IDW doing a separate comic involving TF:Cybertron characters for the fanclub?
Seeing as how the word "storm" is slightly in italics in the ad, perhaps they are referring to Sunstorm?
If this is refering to a Cybertron comic, then why am I suddenly getting flashes of Dreamwave? I mean, for the IDW release the G1 comic, now follow it up with a BW comic and add to that a Cybertron comic. Dreamwave got over saturated with a whole lot of TF comics. better to get one series going and see how it goes down with the fans before you start throwing money at more series. Gotta learn to walk before you can run.
I know those death threats Skir received were a bit over the top, but if turns out to be the case that Simon's turning to a DW toy cameo / series of fight scenes for inspiration, I'm sure we can whip up a bucket of tar and feathers between us...
I doubt it's a cybertron comic. I still wish they'd to the "Crisis on Infinite Cybertrons" story once Cybertron is over so we could have one big huge unified universe. *runs before getting pelted by tomatoes* Seriously, what I want after Cybertron is over is an ARMADA/ENERGON/CYBERTRON compiled MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE Profile books.... collected together into nice TPB in alphabetical order, not by series...
Interesting. Hopefully Mr. Ryall can shed some light in the letters section in the next few Infiltration issues.
