    Here's my lab :D

Just thought I'd resume my activities as a kitbasher, something I've abandoned when I was 10 or so (it wasn't really kitbashing, more like random toy destruction). I figured I was in need of a hobby, since I illustrate for a living and it's been stressing the sh*t out of me.

The pink stuff on the table is the infamous RSP Arcee kit. Boy, it's horrible - all the joints are poor resin casts and the crotch piece was missing, so I had to build a new one out of styrene. I'll also replace most of the joints since they're all disaligned and build a new Arcee head. I'll post more pics as I work on her :)

    Oh, and Dremel rules :D

    2 things.

dremel rules. any other rotary tool is just crap.

and secondly, I agree that arcee kit is crap. I have the same one, in a bag, awaiting fixes one day.

I agree with the first thing, I bought my Dremel 400XPR for one job (making a static grass aplicator from random electrical parts, PVC pipe, and a butter containter), and it's made up for it's price tage a hundred times over already. And it's not even a year old.

As for the resin kit, if you don't want it, I'll take it off your hands.

Don't be discouraged. I started out with a tv tray years back. (also wobbly as hell) Now I have a little shop of horrors. I found its more about how much determination, imagination, heart, time, and dedication you put into a bash that makes it that wonderful piece of art.

If I had that much money I so would, I've been eyeing that Arcee kit for a while, and I'm relatively good with working with absolute garbage at times. Could I get back to you on that at somepoint if I can get that much money?

yeah, I'd sell it on ebay if I could find some decent pics of it. I wasn't happy with the construction they did on it, asked for a refund and never heard back from them. I paid 185 + shipping from china. I can let it go for $185 flat.

Alright, but like I said it may be a long while before I can save up $185 to get her from you. To prevent this thread from getting more off topic, however, let's move this disscussion to the PM's.
