Not only have I waited for Omega Supreme longer than it takes most people to be born and graduate from high school, I've also kept something for almost as long. When my older friend got out of Transformers in... must have been 1991 or so... I bought a bunch of random stuff he had around. Some was quite awesome like Powermaster Optimus Prime and Wreck-Gar, and some was just random junk.

One random piece was this. I recognized it as a part of Omega Supreme but back then I had no concept of pre-Transformers. However, this isn't even from the original Mechabot-1 as mine is chromed. So, any ideas where my friend might have picked up this weird piece?

I would assume it might be from a knock-off, but that is just me guessing with no real knowledge on stuff like this.

Cool! Although, I have NO idea how the hand of Tankrobo ended up with a kid in Sweden before 1991...

I got a version with that exact part years ago. Snagged it at a collector's fair at some point in the early 90s. Very nice piece.
