Can someone tell me what's wrong with DC Direct? Why has THIS not been made into a collectors' action figure? In my opinion, about the only way you could top this is by making one of George Reeves...

Don't get me wrong, the statue is great, but an action figure of this guy would seriously, in my opinion, be considered the greatest Superman action figure ever made.

    Sound off... yay or nay?

I would love to have a Christopher Reeve figure as well. To me, nobody else signifies the true spirit of Superman more than he does.

I have also been wanting figures of Zod, Ursa, and Non from Superman II. A box set of them would be ideal.

    I like this thread!!

    Now I am brainstorming...

A box set from Superman III....containing the good and evil Superman figures from their battle against each other.

As bad a movie as Superman III was, that sequence in the film is my favorite from it...Reeve did a fantastic job battling himself!!

We also need a Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman, complete with removable wig), Otis, Miss Tessmacher, Jimmy Olsen, and Lois Lane!!

It has to do with licensing issues. They have to license the actors image. Or in the case the actor's estate. They have to get permission.

This I believe. I don't think it would be a problem but i don't think anyone ever though of it. I mean, Hot Toys and DC both made great figures of Christian Bale and Heath Ledger last year.

Maybe someone should ask at SDCC. I know I'll throw my 2 cents in at Wizard Chicago

So they can make a statue of him, but no figure?

And Chris could get me to watch Superman 4... and it was worse than 3....

now that I think of it, didn't they even make a bobblehead figure?
