A scene that I really liked (that didn't have any bots in it)

I really dug that scene where Sam and Epps have just watched the shuttle explode, and the two decide that they're going back to Chicago anyway. Along the way they stop and pick up a few more former NEST-members. It was kind of a heartfelt scene because these guys knew they weren't going to survive, but went anyway. And I love the way the Linkin Park song was edited into the scene.

Of any humans portrayed in the trilogy (besides Sam), Epps and Lennox are probably the ones who have grown the most character-wise. You actually do become involved enough with them to care whether they die or not.

Of the two, I really liked Epps. I believed Tyrese in that role, and I'd have followed the guy into battle.

    Agreed!

While Sam's parents were primarily comic relief through the movies, the scene where Ron is yelling at Sam to come along in RotF was one of my favorite scenes. Earlier in the movie, even though it was just for humor, Judy was upset Sam was leaving for college and Ron was excited for him to go. Then in that battle scene, we see a reversal where Ron was adamant that Sam come with them, but Judy talked him into letting Sam go.

I actually liked quite a few non bot scenes. The Russian Bar was pretty great I thought.

Ya, real cool scene. The tear in Sam's eye as the ship falls in a fire ball was sad to watch even though you know they didnt all die.

I liked all of the NEST guys, with the exception of Lester Speight's Hardcore Eddie character. He was pretty damn whiny for a guy who just volunteered to go on a suicide mission.
