I generally can't be bothered to change the soundtrack in a television program I'm watching to anything other than the one provided in the program.
The auras in that series towards the end were very much like Dragonball Z, although I never considered anything other than the BGM as background music. Cybertron / Galaxy Force had a decent soundtrack score that certainly fit the mood well, and by the time the series got to Gigalonia, a lot of nice unique pieces started to get used rather than the same basic themes.
What an odd thread. Oh well. I'm gonna say Stan Bush's "Kumite" from the Bloodsport soundtrack. Not that I've watched that fight to the song, just because it seems like a weird idea.
I listen to something that reminds me how mind crushingly bad and pointless it would be to go through all this trouble for a badly written, animated and executed show...
Folks: Everything is better with Yakety Sax. Including "Challenge" (ep 43?) which I watched yesterday with my son, and realized, "Gosh, I really do like this crazy show!" I keep waiting for Leohaul to yell "THIS IS SPARTA!"
I'd personally like to hear "You're the best, around" from the Karate Kid soundtrack when the robots in question would fight.
