when it comes to beast machines did mainframe ever work on batman beyond?

the reason i ask that question is becuase i have noticed that when it comes to beast machines and batman beyond the buildings at times look rather similer in each seires design model wise

at some points in batman beyond depending on the episode i have noticed that the buildings look like they could pass for some of the cybertropolis city scenes and theres even one building that can at times be seen in bb that could actually pass for bm megatrons heavily armored citedal

anybody know what the story is on that one?

No they did not. Mainframe had nothing to do with Batman Beyond. Batman Beyond was done by Warner Brothers Animation, and any coincidences are just that, coincidences. I think a lot of the designs for Batman Beyond were done by Bruce Timm, who I am pretty certain did not work on Beast Machines.

Beast Machines is based on Animals versus Machines as well Beast Wars 2, but BB is based on the Future Dark Knight Era.

Futuristic cities sometimes just look alike.

From a 2007 interview with Bruce Timm:

    And there you go.

And besides the other reasons that others have pointed out, Batman Beyond debuted a full 8 months before Beast Machines, and none of the same people were involved in the production of both series.

The design similarities, as others have pointed out, are merely coincidental.

    Ebay:
Paul Rivoche designed what Gotham looked like in BB. Computer artists designed what BM looked like.
