Just curious to know, why did Hasbro paint Animated Starscream like Thundercracker? Why not his show-accurate grey and magenta?

He looks fine to me. One of my favorite TFs actually.

He's not painted like thundercracker. Thundercracker's a lot darker.

But yeah, his color's not show-accurate at all. No idea why.

Because they thought the magenta colours might scare of the male fanbase? :lol

I've always thought he looked more like Thundercracker. Everyone was crying about no Thundercracker release, but I kept thinking they just needed to release a proper colored Starscream and his first release could be Thundercracker.

Except Thundercracker was a different deco completely. His blue was much darker and the red was replaced with silver, among other obvious changes.

That'd be a horrible stand in for Thundercracker.

Hasbro painted Starscream blue and red because his character in the show is blue and red :p

I actually liked the fact Hasbro played around with the color scheme on Starscream to come up with his animated version. Makes him look distinct...
