Once again I wandered around the yard looking for transforming mutant bugs, but with the snow and cold lately, I couldn't even find an ant. I did find a blue frog climbing a tree though. It hopped down when I got close and started taking pictures of it, then it spit on me. I figured if that's the best it had, I'm pretty safe, so I chuckled. The little bugger hopped up into a tiny robot form, which didn't surprise me, but I was surprised that it chucked back. I started snapping more pics and it quickly hopped away. Right as I was thinking that one wasn't so bad, I felt nauseated, barfed, and died. I can only assume it was some kind of poison spittor frawg.
You're on a roll with the realistic Beast Stuff. I really enjoyed your Black Arachnia so much that I had to snag one to try it myself. Great job. I think you are getting better with every figure you paint up!!
I hate it when a poisonous frog spits on me and then I die. Spittor looks AMAZING with this paint job, so realistic, and the colors just work so naturally on him, especially when executed this well. Great job!
Thanks guys. The blue actually looks much more like the reference pic frog color but outside the lighting made him look lighter... I hit him with 2 coats of triple thick gloss coat for the shiny wet look.

RIP, Uni, you'll be sorely missed. Most impressive paintjob there; on first glance I thought it looked like it was crackling with electricity or something; I've never actually seen a frog with that kind of patterning before. I'm surprised he didn't headbutt you as well. I've got a couple of similar beasts in the basement, and they used to do that to me all the time.

Haha I thought my wife was kidding when she said she wanted this one. She won't let me sell it! I was planning to sell all of the realistic Predacons as a set (except Waspinator and Blackmycracknia). I'm glad you guyz like my silly stories. I was going to name this post "Spittor Swallow?" but I decided that was inappropriate.
Deft with a paint brush you are. That paint work on his back is sweet. I agree with previous comments about it looking real and I agree with your wife. I wouldn't sell it either. Nice work. Really nice work.
I hope the frog bot got crushed..... and atleast you haven't run into a huge fire ant or two spiders.
