Remember that old Halloween episode idea I had. Well, I added some updates to it, and I will share them with you and see what you think. I even added an original touch: If you get bit by an Insecticon, you turn into one at night. I took some advice and here's what I have:

During an attack against the Autobots by a group of Insecticons during a mission, one of them bites Arcee. Back at the Autobot base, Arcee starts acting very aggressive and her strength has somehow grown 10 times more powerful. Arcee doesn't know what's happening to her, but the full moon arrives, and Arcee goes through a transformation into a rampaging Insecticon. Now, the other Autobots have to give her the cure that Ratchet created. If they don't give it to her before midnight, she'll be stuck as an Insecticon forever. They have to act fast.

    What do you think?

That is kind of cool. But that's not what Arcee would look like in Insecticon form in the episode. She'd look more like the other Insecticons in Prime.

How about if it was Bumblebee in her place? I mean he face does resemble a bug somewhat and it'll give him some more screentime.

It does. It did in the movies, too.

No, this just sounds way to cheesy to me. The idea may fit in Animated or maybe another series, but not in Prime.

    You think so?

I thought it'd be original Transformers-wise, because this has never been done with the Insecticons before.

But, yeah, I was trying to think how it could work, and this is what I came up with.

Never even thought about if/how he resembled a bug. Guess you're right. Wish he still had his little head pieces from the movie. When he had his mask down, along with his little antennae thingies, he really looked like a bug.

Anyway, can't say I subscribe to the idea. The bizarre vampire style of it contradicts Prime's realism factor. And, like it's been said, exposed-and-then-transform-into-viscious-creature has been done very many times before.

I'm sure any Halloween episode of TF Prime would center on Starscream and Airachnid since they're true sadists.

I'm not sure an episode like this would work in a show like Prime

    No.

    Fucking terrible...

I stand with my original notion of "fucking terrible". If "werewolf" style shit is going to be done, it has to be done right, this isn't it, and I'd rather not see it (or vampire crap). Zombies have better potential, but they'd need a bigger arc than just an episode.

For a Halloween episode, they should REALLY get pagan with it, by having fallen Cybertronians (specifically who died on Earth) show up as ghosts. According to Celtic and Mexican traditions, the window of time towards the end of October and beginning of November (Celtics "Samhain" [pronounced "Sow-ehn"] | Mexican: "Dia de los Muertos" [literally translates to "Day of the Dead"]) is when the veil between the living world and the dead world is at its thinnest. They could use the opportunity to allow Cliffjumper, Skyquake and/or Breakdown's respective sparks to communicate with the living from beyond the Matrix (not "of Leadership"), if only temporarily, maybe to help drive part of the plot(s).

It would be macabre as all hell! Maybe also use it as a chance to introduce Liege Maximo.

No. I'm not found of the idea of werewolfs.

For a Halloween episode I want Michael Myers to chase down Miko for 20 minutes and Michael dies comes in and crushes him like a can and then he says:

Bulkhead: Those Organs I'm crushing You needed them to live?

    THE END!
