Ok we have already seen that there will be a DOTM deluxe Ratchet, but..

I hope Hasbro has plans for a NEW, more movie accurate Ratchet that somewhat has some scale to it!! Not a Leader but maybe a Human Alliance
or even a New Voyager with a Mechtech weapon. I know this seems probably pointless to Hasbro, but it would be nice to have somewhere down the line..

So what would you rather have?

1. New DOTM Voyager Mold with Mechtech weapon

2. New DOTM Human Alliance w human fig.

3. No, the current Voyager/Deluxe is fine for me

 

Wait until after DOTM, then drop the Mehtech and do a large voyager that is in scale with Leader Ironhide.

 

Neither. Scale is possibly the most stupid thing that people base their purchases off of. Scale is nice for the core bots, but insanely hard to achieve for the whole line. Ratchet has had enough renditions to keep you from whining about it.

 

I want a HA Ratchet.

 

No one is whining, some of us LOVE Ratchet and like those who love Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, etc. Some wouldnt mind another size class of Ratchet despite what the haters of him think. In other words, they don't count.

Anyway, Bring on the Ratchets!!

 

I have to agree with Brainchild. Its just not possible to have every figure in scale with the size classes and its not practical to make new size classes just for the purpose of being 100% in scale. The deluxe ratchet from ROTF is actually very nicely scaled with the deluxe Ironhide and Voyager BB Optimus Prime.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong. I adore Ratchet, but I'm not asking for ANOTHER one just because the one that Hasbro's being nice enough to give us isn't in scale.

 

Ummm what is the point of a poll if you just said that everyone that has an opposing view do not count. And i love movie Ratchet i just do not think scale is the thing to worry about. I would buy a new more screen accurate version but that has to be the level of screen accuracy of ROTF leader Prime.

The new Deluxe looks good enough for me, and honestly, him being about the same height as Bee will be easy for me to get over....eventually, lol. Might just sell/trade his Mechtech weapon though. It's nice, but too big for him in bot-mode, imho.

 

Im just asking, if they made a NEW more accurate Ratchet of any class for DOTM other than Deluxe, would you buy it? I would! I love Ratchet!!!

I want a voyager Ratchet that doesn't look like the Stay-Pufft Marshmellow Man covered in Vomit.

But something in comparable size to the first Voyager Ironhide mold.

 

Ratchet is a core bot.

Anyway scale isn't the only reason for them to do a new mold.

There's a lot of ways they could improve the accuracy in a new figure. This was one suggestion I had in an earlier thread:

 

I'd be up for a HA Ratchet. Otherwise I'm honestly still fine with the 07 movie Voyager.

I would like them to redo the voyager mold, as I prefer that size over the deluxe. Scale doesn't have to be perfect for me, but the deluxe is just too tiny to display with my other deluxe Autobots, like Bumblebee.

I haven't decided if I'm going to bother buying any Ratchets from DOTM. I know I won't buy any deluxe versions.

I'd prefer one in scale with my HA figure line, especially since I'll have an Ironhide for my HA display, but that isn't likely.

 

I'm one of the few it seems who thinks the first voyager figure is quite good. I have the '07 premium version, and he works perfect for me. Don't think I'd buy a second voyager unless it was a huge improvement.

 

I want either HA or Voyager so long as he fits the same approx size of the Movie 1 Voyager Ratchet.
