Glad that your fine and hopefully everything will be covered by insurance. I'd be more worried about where to find a place to live at the moment. But man an Original Jetfire......There is no GOD!

Hate to hear that guy, but glad you're okay. My best friends attic caught fire years ago and destroyed all his orginal TF's too.

Sorry to hear that. But look on the bright side, that G1 Jetfire was the only BIG loss. All the others can be easily and cheaply replaced.

glad you're ok, and it's nice to hear that you're chuckling about it. I'm sure if you post some pics (if you have them) of the melted blobs, some of the good photoshoppers here could really make you laugh with them :thumb

I'm very sorry for your collection loss. I can only imagine how that must feel. I'm glad you are well and as others have stated, no one was hurt.

P.S. Maybe you could put the TF blobs on eBay. Talk about battle damage!

That truely sucks, man. I'm sorry to hear (read) that. As much as it would pain me to lose every TF I have, I also understand that there's more to life than just Transformers. They're replacable things. Your life is not. If you're still a fan, then just rebuild your collection (which seems to be the case). Also, it may also be a good time to get into something else. I know that seems like something a TF fan may not want to consider, but that's what I'd do. :)

Again, sorry to hear that. :(

Screw that (IMO). Glad you're okay and sorry about the lost TFs, too. But I've been through this as well. Parents' house burned down in '94 (while we were out of town) and claimed all my then old toys. That incident actually kickstarted my collecting binge, but if another fire/earthquake/flood/tornado/volcano/apocalypse happened, I seriously doubt I could bring myself to start over. I'm insured, but I'd take the money and put it to other uses...like, a car, or retirement.
