2D Artwork: A minor amusement- Bronze-Age Box Art

    While writing an article for the Kidbash Blog about the concept of "transformation" and how the introduction of that idea to robot-fiction was a game changer, I did a little reflection on how the history of the idea of transformation has figured into human literature since the beginning of time.

    I called out Ovid's Metamorphoses specifically, and in my attempt to illustrate the point, I created this little teracotta-box-art-mashup

    I started off just dropping the original image into the article unmodified, but then I was struck by how much it reminded me of the old box-top-transformations...and I just had to take my point to the next level :)
