If you own Botcon Banzai-Tron, do yourself a favour. Go buy an Energon Doom-Lock, if you don't already have one.

    Doom-lock - Transformers Energon - TFW2005

The colour of the sword's plastic is a near perfect match to Banzai-Tron's clear plastic.

Now if only I could find a gun that he could hold AND I can attach the sword to...:ev:

I know. I keep my Banzai Tron's backpack down behind him like a train.

The arm panels are pretty ridiculous, too.

Has anyone else figured out good hand weapons that match figures who never came with any?

Are you referring to the large boat side panels? Those actually aren't a backpack; they're attached to the side of the 'bot mode. They're actually more like a skirt (kind of like MP-3's hip kibble) that can be positioned perpendicular to the ground like that because they're attached to the 'bot mode by ball joints (I think). Normally they're supposed to be positioned pointing down.

The mold does have a bit of a backpack though due to the spring loaded launchers.

That's pretty cool that the colors match so well. I have Doomlock but not that Banzaitron, one more reason to get one.

I bought Doomlock's sword for Energon Galvatron but lately he hasn't been using it, so this could be useful :]

The launchers themselves aren't much of an issue, but the backpack is also where the battery compartment and sound box are. They take up most of the bulk.

Take a look at Classics Grimlock gun, it has a bayonet on it like the original action master figure, you may just need a different missile or the gun extension from the protector armor.

That was actually one of the first things I tried when I opened Banzai-Tron. Classics Grimlock's gun handle is too small. It also doesn't really fit in with the "Energon" aesthetic. I guess my best bet is to look through weapons from Energon figures and see if anything jumps out at me.

I did try Energon Rodimus' gun, but the shade of orange is a bit darker, and because of those dead Mini-con ports on his arms, Banzai-Tron can't even hold it. It would have been a good pick, because there's a peg hole on the bottom of that gun where I can peg the sword.

Oh, and to Maetel: I was able to get Doom-lock for under $20, shipped. Sometimes e-bay CAN get you good deals.
