Just a friendly reminder from your neighborhood good old chap, please be careful with fireworks this July 4th weekend! After all typing with one or no hands.. not really easy.
Spend time with your family. You may not get along with all of them but you be suprized when they are gone how much you miss them. My grandmother passed away 5 years ago on the 4th. Be safe, Happy early 4th.
it's in our national anthem to have fireworks, so we gots to blow shit up this time of year. *in a stereotypical WWII era general-type voice* you ain't american son, till you've been in a firefight with bottle rockets against 10 of your best pals and at least 5 people you can't stand... we just like things to go boom! it's just that we prefer they go straight up and sparkle on the way down. Happy 4th!
This reminds me of the time when my idiot neighbor decided to through a bunch of fireworks into one of them burning barrels & start something that clearly wouldn't end well. ... half of them didn't even go off, and the other half managed to push the barrel over as it rolled around for a bit. Fun time was fun.

when doing a cook out, makes sure to have a fire extinguisher and a bucket of water handy. and pack lots of meat. mm-mm burgers and hotdogs sound good right about now. cops are gonna be rampant around these parts. good thing too. gotta keep people calm.
