Just wanted to share this blog post I came across today: Robots in disguise The author opens up about loving transformers as a kid and seeing the original movie and offers up some pretty interesting and profound thoughts on it. I have never seen the movie framed like this and nails partly why it's endured compared to it's contemporaries. It just made my appreciation of the movie grew even more. Also watch the movie bob video review embedded in it.
Honestly and hating to be that guy but: I didnt found anything new or profound in the article. Not that its a bad article or that I dissagree with anything in particular in it, but nothing that has not already been said elsewhere is in there. More or less its the reasons why we all then and still love it
Moviebob's video is pretty amazing, IMO. Not so much this article for me, but I can understand why it might blow someone's mind if they never thought about it this way before. --Moony
