I apologize in advance if the is the wrong section. I want to sell a SG Starsceam but don't know for how much. The thing is though is that it lacks a missile and key but has the gun. He's still in good condition. I have some pictures. Any help would be great, Thanks :)

That galaxy force seeker mold is georgeous to say the least. They should reissue him.

I'd guess under $80. Botcon figures are collector-grade to begin with, so completeness and paperwork are a big deal... And it's not like parts exist.

I sold my extra piece (complete with Cyber Key & missile, no paperworks) for approximately USD $80.

    That was 2 years back...

They've gone up since then. I'm guessing about 50 cents on the dollar for what it's worth now.

SG Starscream has fluctuated greatly the last year. I've seen complete with paperworks go from $75 (was offered one about this time last year, passed on it, big mistake, ended up getting one later at $110) to $160. From what I've gathered paperworks don't matter as much as complete weapons and accessories. Missing accessories tend to knock the price down a bit.

    What?! Even without paperworks??

I still see complete ones (loose/MISP but with paperworks) occasionally on eBay & they're like USD $100-ish? (+/-)

I dunno about the rest of you boys but the highest I've ever seen him on eBay was like USD $200 in MISP condition...

The ones I've seen have been in the $150 range for complete with paperwork.

Either way, this incomplete one certainly won't break the $80 mark. Nothing says it will even break the $50 mark, but that falls under my original prediction

I've seen them in the low 100s, can't remember if they've ever reached 120 or so without paperworks.

MISP tends to be really hard to get since it means he's part of the bagged set of which only 200 were available. Maybe we saw the same one, because I definitely remember one going into the 190s towards the end of the year.

If the OP really wants to sell it for the best price, he could always go to ebay and let the people bid for it.

I remembered selling my loose piece (what was shared earlier) because I found a worthy deal on eBay for USD $90 shipped from Canada. It was MISP complete with paperworks.

    Funny thing:

It was supposed to be a cash deal but we ended up trading as he was looking for a sealed Superlink Shock/Tidal Wave for the longest time possible. (I happened to have a unit available for sale at that point)

Yeah, believe it or not, its my first "Trade" on eBay! :lolol

Yeah, the BIN on eBay can get quite high, sellers have a habit of jacking those up, especially if they see no one has an auction up. I don't use those as a gauge for pricing though, usually I check completed listings, where you can see the actual prices people are willing to pay. I think the average is still about $150 and below.
