I have played the first 2 and they were Awesome. 3 is looking to be so much better. Fighting 50 enemies at a time. The new Zipper effect(Lots of Intrails will be spilling). Just Wow. Watch the Video.

It looks like 1 and 2 with current gen visuals. Of course, that means it looks great, but I'm not blown away.

If I had a PS3, this is one of the games I will definitely buy.

Wow. That Ultimate Edition has a lot of cool stuff. I doubt the wifey will let me drop the coin for it though. I'll definately be getting the game on launch day though.

I think I'm going to start saving. The soundtrack plus the remastered rock soundtrack sound awesome, as does the Documentary and the downloads are pretty cool, even if I still feel shit like that should be included, but so long as I'm already getting it for other reasons, it's not so bad.

Curse Sony and their awesome exclusives :(  Between this and the Assassin's Creed 2 limited edition, I'll be eating ramen noodles for a while.

For the same reason I have learned how to vary my noodles. For example, have you ever scrambled eggs with it?

I'm excited about getting the demo tonight though.

I'm usually a sucker for collectors editions, but this one just doesn't seem worth it to me.For 80, maybe it'd be ok. 100? Just too much. The soundtracks are cool, and the documentary might be neat, but everything together just isn't compelling enough to pull me in.

I agree about the price. But I really do want it. I have till March to at least bring the price down a bit by putting 10 bucks here and 10 bucks there. I spend money on pointless shit, so putting it aside for on of my favorite game franchise will hurt less if I do it in bits and pieces.

Hasn't your wife given birth yet?
If so then get her back to work so you can get the exclusive editions!

I am liking the Pandora's Box edition (though should it be a jar? :p )
Some of the special editions that are being made these days are fantastic (and pricey)

Reminds me of Joe's wife from Family Guy.

Well then there's an easy way to get the Ultimate Edition. Get it for your we one and call it "educational material". Say ya want to get'em started on the history of Greek mythology early.

Argh, the waiting for Amazon to send me my code is killing me. Apparently I should've ordered from Gamestop.

Yeah, I got mine from Gamestop. The demo is pretty badass. Kinda short, but I played enough to know I want it. Not as impacting as fighting the Hydra in GOW2's demo, but considering how much material I "didn't" know about when GOW2 came out, I'm sure this will surprise.

PS. It's violent enough that my fiance turned away twice.
