Just spoke to a friend who told me he had his drive-thru order from a fast food place paid for.. When he pulled up to pay, the cashier said the lady in front of him paid for his meal and to say "Merry Christmas!" Anyone else have a moment like that? Anyone have a similiar story where they gave for the holidays to a complete stranger? I thought it was awesome and unique.. so I had to post it.
Sounds like some sort of secret spy shit to me. I hope your friend didn't eat a RFID chip with their burger and tomorrow they'll wake up in a Soviet bunker with a man in high leather boots who screams at him demanding to know the location of Red Squirrel.
There was a chain reaction from this kind of thing in PA (video w/ad at beginning) http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?rn=3906861&cl=5419700&ch=4226713&src=news
If I'm going to have fast food, I go to White Castle. And their customers are mostly homeless. I don't expect much generosity from them.
I dont eat fast food anymore, but when I did this never happened to me. Or anybody I know, for that matter. It's really nice that someone did that.
The best things that have ever happened to me at a drive-thru: 1. They got my order right (only happens 1/3 of the time) 2. The mentally ill people at Wendy's don't walk out in front of the car as we leave 3. I don't have to wait longer than about 5 minutes Best things that ever happened eating in at a fast food place: 1. Employees don't bother me when I eat 2. They give me the damn sauce when I ask for it 3. Two words... Free Refills.
I've paid for people's tolls on toll roads here in Florida before, but have yet to be on the receiving end of the favor.
