This isn't a real comic, so i put it here. I had a dream yesterday afternoon and i liked it. I was sitting in a chair in some store next to one of those spinning comic book racks. and i kept hearing the name of Sydney Friedman (Freedman, who knows- i just know it was the psychiatrist from M*A*S*H) in my head and thinking i was supposed to meet him. but the comics on the rack were too good to pass up. There were Transformer comics and though ragged looking, they were a mix of comics i know i own and some that were new. I knew i was dreaming because all the comics were priced at 59 cents each. anyway, the new comics were interesting. it was a cross between Spotlight and the old Transformers Universe 4 issue set. it was an action comic but it told an awful lot about a certain character. Like i was flipping through the issue with Ratchet. i saw images of his "base" acting as a roving attack sentinel that could actually fly while Ratchet could be doing other things. it told what ratchet could really do, his special abilities, little known tricks, and other things. Basically a trivia book with neat images. the dream ended as i was grabbing as many of these comics as i could. I know we have the MTME books by DW (balloon animals and all, lol) and Spotlight lets us in a little on a character, but i wish we had a stand alone series like this that basically "sells" us the coolest things about a character. Just a dream, IDW....ahem.
Wow... that's quite the dream you had. Doubtful they would make a comic series based on the one you were reading in your dream, but... couldn't hurt to try and email IDW with a suggestion on what they could do for a TF comic.
