Or, close enough:
Dog drags newborn from family home in Kentucky - TwinCities.com
Maybe the dog was trying to help...?
oddness more details are needed before i can pass judgement
Bad on Dad's part. Never chase a dog that has your newborn son in his maw, while the baby is shaking while he runs.
Is it bad that I focused on the phrase "Native American Indian dog" first?
Sounds like that dog needs a healthy dose of vitamin shovel.
He probably panicked and did what a panicking parent would do - try to grab their baby away from harm. Its a dog owning parent's worst nightmare - I don't even want to imagine being in those people's shoes.
Frankly I'm surprised the dog is still alive. If it were me the dog would be dead ASAP after I got my baby away from him. The dog has tasted human blood and learned that babies are toys if not prey.
Don't you just love a world where people too fucking stupid to train a dog properly are allowed to have kids?
Re-home the dog, put the family down.
they can't kill the dog yet it has to be observed and tested for rabies
I know I can't run worth a crap, but I can cover 200 yards in a lot less than 10 minutes. Hell I can beat that walking...
My money says he chased the dog for 10 minutes, at which time he was able to recover the child about 200 yards away from the residence.
unfortunately. I agree with you.
something was wrong with that dog. i dont think they've established to the dog what a baby is. the dog has to go.
I'm sure that the dog was givin the baby back, Like in Tom and Jerry.
(Can you imagine him chasing the dog while saying: "I want my baby back, baby back...")
Or the wants revenge for the name "hot dog".
The dog is now suing for emotional distress and lost income.
Well, the dog needs to be taken care of Ol' Yeller style, that's the easy part. I'm just wondering how the dog dragged the baby all the way outside without anyone noticing. I mean, it sounds like the father was inside (since the article mentions him going outside) and he didn't hear anything? Wouldn't the baby have started crying at some point during the initial stages of the dragging?
Feed the dog to a bear.
I know. I was making a joke...
Wow... this story hits too close to home. I live in Lexington, and drive my 18-wheeler to Nicholasville every day.
