    Hey everyone..
I decided I wanted a Runabout and Runamuck for my CHUG collection.. after going out to find out the cost of classics cliffjumper or classics bee... I decided it was unfeasible to use that mold..

So I came up with a new idea that I thought would be.. neat..

So Big Daddy will end up being Runamuck (the black one) and Downshift will be Runabout (the white one) (Unless I reversed their names which is entirely possible).

Just added the spoiler to Runabout tonight.. It looks a bit out of place right now, but once it's all painted the right colors I think it will look a bit nicer.. :)
I've got a bit of a gap between the hood and where the engine used to be on downshift.. If I fill this gap it needs to be filled on the swivel side which will look strange in transformation. If I fill it on the real hood side the head wont' be able to pop up.. what should I do?

Those look great so far, Justin! Looking forward to seeing more on 'em. Now tell me you have an extra one of those original heads you removed. :)

An extra downshift head or an extra runamuck head? :)
I used both runamuck heads i've got, but have both downshift and big daddy's head lying around if you're in need.. :)

They're fun characters that really fit a whole variety of molds! link me to your hotshot mold if you've got it!

Hehe.. Yeah I look at them and seeing they like mayhem the downshift cars just look too menacing to not try this out!

Shoot me your address on facebook or something and I'll get it out when I can! :)

The Big Daddy figure almost looks purple in the first picture - which looks hella cool. In regards to the customs Im glad to see someone found a good use for the universe Runamuck figure. The only good about that toy was its headsculpt. These ought to look damn nice when finished.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I can't wait to get back to these, I've gotta start doing the disassembly soon so paint comes off nice and pretty!

The universe Runamuck has a great head, and a great alt mode..

    That's about it! haha
I figured grabbing 2 of them for $3 a piece was better than my (what would be lame) attempt at sculpting them myself. :)

Got a fair amount done, but the only pic I've got to show of it is Runabout's head.

The core black and white paint is done, I need to go out and pick up some other paint to do some of the details.
I did the base coats in spray paint which is one type of paint I'm generally NOT a fan of working with...

I certainly plan on it. The Runamuck is drying.. well he's probably dry now. I've got paint for him, just need the time to do it.
Runabout is done his black color, but I need to pick up some red paint to do the windows and such.

So it's coming along.. but sadly work has once again claimed my time.

Well put them back together to show you guys what I've got. I think Runamuck may need a redo.
I did them both with paint, I used black grill paint for runabout and it turned out great.. I used white krylon fusion for runamuck, and i'm just not happy with the results.. Sadly I don't know how to remove the paint from it without destroying him so he may be scrap. He's got lots of places that need touch ups, and both have some areas that need a little dremel assist to make parts not rub..

I dunno.. REALLY happy with Runabout, not very happy with Runamuck.. Comments?
