I decided to start a POSITIVE thread about this issue. Please do not troll or spam it up with arguing or bitching in any way.

With the recent announcement of a Generations Thundercracker (and the already released Dirge and Thrust.),

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of the owners of the 2007 Botcon set who have been so positive and gracious about the mass release of these figures.

Thanks for sharing the love and being positive and showing that you're glad that everyone will have the chance to own these great figures!!

Same goes for the Henkei/Gentai owners of these figures as well!!

And THANK YOU to Hasbro for finally releasing them!!

Most of us who own the Botcon 07 Thundercracker (such as myself), are happy that it's getting a mass release. If they use the classics mold it will be a different paint deco than the Botcon or Henkei version, which is awesome for those of us with a weak spot for old Thundercracker.

If it's a new mold then the potential for future Starscream/Skywarp releases is virtually guaranteed!

This is a good point since I recall back in '07 that it was largely theorized that people who got the Botcon set would be pissed if they were ever released at mass retail, but that really hasn't been the case. And of course us Henkei owners are happy since all we wanted to begin with was a cheaper Thundercracker. So rather than bitch and moan that we paid too much, we're happy to finally be living the dream.

I didn't know Thundercracker had been exclusive. So I'm happy I'll get a chance to get a third Seeker. All I have are the two newest ones and I dislike cone-heads. I would much rather have Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker (in that order too).

    Anywho, yeah I'm pleased.

I am glad for this news, as I was just about to start my Thundercracker custom. It'll be a whole lot easier doing Skywarp. Yeaaaaaaaah.

The more the better. I dont own a Botcon one but the owners should still be excited. They can preserve theirs.

I think the Makers should get maximum credit & not those of us that has both Botcon & Henkei pieces. :D

Its not like we can decide whether to release him or not.

I have the Botcon set and don't mind the Generations seekers at all. Thundercracker is my favorite seeker anyhow, and it will be nice to have a cheap version to play around with and not have to worry about breaking, since the upcoming version should become easy to replace if needed.

It's kinda funny, but I had painted up a Starscream toy into TC colors after seeing a pretty cool custom here at Radicons. So I've had my own TC for a while.

Still, it'll be interesting to see exactly what they do. I can't imagine it being a new mold, but I wonder if they'll go toon-accurate colors for this one to oppose the more toy-accurate colors of the BC version.

I think the idea is that he's thanking Botcon TC owners for not pitching a fit over this upcoming release.

It's nice that he took the time to thank us, and only slightly insulting that there's this much surprise that Botcon/Gentei owners aren't being extremely petty about it. :)

I'm probably biased, but it always seems to me that whenever a mass-release toy of something formerly exclusive comes, every cry of "How dare they devalue my rare gem! " is drowned out by at least five saying "I bet you guys feel really STOOPID for spending all that money now! Your rage is delicious!!"

    So, you're welcome. :D

And I'll be buying Gen Thundercracker if it looks good enough.

Motormaster brings up a good point. While it is more than likely going to be the classics seeker mold from what i recall this has not been confirmed to be the classics seeker mold. I know this is more dreaming and not likely but a brand new seeker mold... well i cannot think of words to describe the awesomness of said dream.

I own the Botcon set and am greatly relieved for the mass release of Thundercracker, Dirge, and Thrust. I can keep my Botcon set in the box and not have to worry about them thransforming them and breaking. The mass retail ones will be the ones that will start getting displayed.
