    Looks like a stylized version of his Beast Hunters look to me. I wonder if he may just appear this way in flashbacks.

    His chest looks like his FOC form a lot. Good to have him back. Not sure I like how the aesthetic looks though.

    From how he looks faded I'm guessing that he'd be more of a spirit that talks to Bumblebee every now and then when a crisis is too big for Bee to take which I'm fine with if that's the case.

    As for the design it looks like a blend of his Beast Hunters design along with the TFP Orion Pax design that was featured in the flashbacks of the One Shall Rise arc and the Art of Prime book.

    Nice design. From a story perspective, though, whether he's dead or alive, I hope he's featured only sparingly. I like the idea of a show that doesn't have Optimus as the lead. Nothing against Optimus, it's just a nice chance to mix it up a bit.

    Predictable. I'm more interested in this apparently taking place on cybertron, given the setting. Seems like the most likely possible setting considering the end of Prime, but I'm glad to see it confirmed. I love the shows/episodes of shows on cybertron because they all seem so beautiful.

    This doesn't thrill me. Doesn't appal me either.

    It's pretty middle of the road really. Hard to be anything more than lukewarm at this point.

    So Optimus isn't going to take center stage this time, that's a needed change. Of course no way are Hasbro going to stop making Optimus toys, not even temporarily.
