Hmm. I'm thinking some sort of Hybrid between Animated and Prime, but with a hint of RB.

I sure hope not. Combining two Mediocre shows will not make one good one.

What the hell? Are they bringing back the RiD cartoon from 2001 or something?

This might mean something IF they hadn't just used that phrase for a comic and toyline (which where totally unrelated to each other and the older cartoon) within the last two years.

Wasn't The Prime line called Robots in Disguise? They are probably just re-uping the old trademark, so someone else doesn't trademark it. Like the old Captain Marvel trademark that Marvel stole from DC when they let it expire. But it would be cool if that is the name of the new series. Btw, Animated was a great toon, some of the toys were not that great like Bumblebee, but some were outstanding toys like Grimlock, Starscream, Prowl and Lugnut. Prime was watchable with some great toys.

They're really loving that sub-title lately.

Can't complain about competent brand use, though.

If you consider those mediocre, than just what pray do you consider to be high quality transformers media out of curiosity? Would love a little more preface on that statement.

Cool. The future is wide open, excite us Hasbro! One thing, with your new cartoon, bring back the noses. It worked for Prime, but I want to see something different this time. Maybe some it fits with my collection better overall too..

Well at 32 years old I've seen every transformers series made, except the Japanese ones. And at the bottom it's a tie between Armada, Energon, Animated and the Prime series. Imo of course. So don't really think I need or want them to take two of the worst series available, combine them and make a new series with the leftovers. I guess I don't even see where you get that idea from a RID Trademark being applied for.

It's cool that they are planning for the next cartoon series, but if it's called "Robots in Disguise" things could get a little... confusing.

Hasbro needs to do something new like they did when armada started.
Recognizeable characters but a slew of new ones.
And plot twists that were amazing, sure that creativity started to die about halfway through energon and was gone by cybertron.
It was still armada that set a ton of new ideas for the future.
Sure the toys sucked but the overall personalities and characterization of the characters was great.
The previous 3 bay films and animated is what should be at the bottom while animated was well written that was the only good thing about it all other aspects were terrible from the designs to the dry humor it was just bad

Well to each there own. Your cup of tea can be cat piss in my book. And vice versa. Imo the Movies have been great. I don't call them bayformers. That was created from people who never had any intention of giving the movie even a chance. They were bitching before the first movie even came out. And non stop bayformer ridicule ever since. So i appreciate you calling them bay films and not bayformers.

I was just thinking about Robots in Disguise and thinking there should be better toys of them, specifically Spychanger Mirage.
