Oh. NOW they include The Headmasters mini series. Would have made more sense to include it earlier before Fort Max and the others showed up. Oh well. Will be nice to finally have thise so I can start reading the Regeneration books.

I was wondering what they were gonna do to fill this out. There weren't enough issues left in the run after the last trade to make a whole book. Count me as someone else surprised they didn't put Headmasters and the movie adaptation in earlier books around the time they would have applied story wise.

Mine is still listed as trying to get. I get periodic emails saying they are still trying to get a copy for me. Strange because I preordered it well before it was released.

They did the same thing to me way back in the early IDW days as well.

    I'll still preorder this one.

Man, I think I've had v6 for a few months now!

Glad this has been announced. How awesome would it be if IDW released the Regeneration books in matching tpbs?

Hoping this means Classics UK is continuing too. I was holding out for this one in the hopes of getting the Universe reprints, I guess I'll wait for a solicit from IDW or to hear from someone who buys this volume to confirm one way or the other if those are in there as I have the rest of these series reprinted in the Classic TF volumes IDW did a few years back.

You know what's sad? I've stared at that cover about 700 times and only now have I noticed Optimus Prime's silhouette behind Bludgeon.

I wonder which random character will appear on the cover of this volume? They'll have a job topping Blitzwing on v6. Searchlight maybe? Or Backstreet?

As much as I like this reprint series of trades, there have been some very odd choices with it. The Prowl and Blitzwing covers. Putting Headmasters at the end instead of slotting it into reading order. Reprinting Man of Iron (especially when it's in Classics UK anyway). Hiring Mark Bellomo to write notes.

Maybe as soon as this volume comes out they'll announce a series of HCs combining everything into reading order, like they did with GI Joe.

The covers have all been reused artwork from Guido's retailer incentive covers from IDW's Inflitration series, which means volume 7 will be either Ratchet or Ironhide.

And the weirdest thing about the Man of Iron reprint is that it uses the UK Collected Comics colouring, apart from the last page which is the Marvel US version.

I don't need it cause I've already got the first edition of IDW's classic trade but its good to know they're finishing off the new line. I don't like buying these because they use newpaper print. It's hard to get stains off the pages
