    Sounds like fun.

Heh heh heh, "65 Million Years in the Making." I see what they did there.

Ok, investor NERF war? I already thought Hasbro were pretty cool people but daaaamn.

Hey, everyone save this bit for when folks say that collector interests aren't relevant to the Generations line:

In fact, also save it for when people hit the panic button that Generations is dead or something.

Kre-O confirmed as not dead, and a Micronauts film? Ooh I like this.

I don't recall seeing a render of Bludgeon before...

Hope they take the opportunity to revisit the first three movies for Kreons. IIRC the only Movieverse Kreon we have is an obscure toy-only Scout repaint, Crankstart. Sentinel's based on his G1 counterpart, and Barricade on WfC.

Hasbro need to test Playskool Gobots with their wee kiddies and see if they can handle slightly better bots than Rescue Bots are - even movable arms and turning heads would help - Personally I think they should be big enough to hold a figure inside them in both modes.

Disposable figurines - unarticulated Humans and Robots who can't even raise their arms is not really what I want from the brand they just suffer badly when compared to Playskool Gobots that are just way better toys in every way - good enough to gain some collector "Chibi" appeal as well as wee kiddies. Where as Rescue Bots require immense application of your "Imagination" as they do naff all.

I'm so mad about that sneak peek. Okay, don't release it, but at least tell us something new already.

I gotta be honest - biggest news in there that people aren't looking at is the Disney tidbits of the Star Wars/Marvel deals being extended, AS WELL AS Hasbro getting the Disney Princess line.

If I were Mattel I'd be concerned that Hasbro snatched up such a prominent part of Disney's merchandising wing while locking in their existing Marvel/Star Wars deals.

Sounds like Generations is going to be Hasbro's "go to" line for non-exclusive Transformers catered to teen fans and older.

Interesting, even though GI Joe Retaliation put up great numbers- and Hasbro is admittedly all about financial gain through immersive branded entertainment- they have all but abandoned the brand? WTF?? Joe fans have been bemoaning this lately via the "panic button", but I'm starting to think they're really is something to this.

Otherwise, the happy, jolly news of this broadcast seems to fly in the face of their last quarterly rather flat to dismal earnings for all things Transformers, which didn't seem nearly as optimistic. Wonder if they put on a happy face here because they know TF4 is right around the corner. :inquisiti

Is okay. They still have their major cash cow in house brands Barbie and Hot Wheels.

Noting here how they didn't state Autobots Vs Decepticons...

    Something fishy is going on...

If the Autobots teaming up with the Dinobots was the main focus - they would have revealed that as they already announced the Dinobots.

If it was teaming up with another Autobot then they wouldn't have needed to define them as our 'great autobot team'

Either the Autobots are teaming up with the Decepticons - or they are teaming up with G.I.Joe members... its one or the other - but something is definitely being kept under wraps...

Note; A G.I.Joe transformers crossover has been heavily rumoured recently - and would make sense that the G.I.Joe replace whatever military team the Transformers Universe has in the fourth movie as it is essentially a reboot of the Transformers series with an almost entirely new human cast. This makes further sense when we consider they are abandoning the G.I.Joe retaliation brand.

    ---

As for the part about 'Save the Earth' its unfortunate they solidify the Autobots win - its annoying to know that their is little suspense going into this.

    ---
Stretch Armstrong, Ouija, Monopoly, Candy Land and Micronauts.

None of these really entice me - Action Man is still the main movie I believe many people are waiting for, which was stated at being made into a movie around the same time as Stretch Armstrong and Monopoly.
