Wow, that makes THREE Brainstorms now? Headmaster heaven...

 

I think I like this one more than the others. It doesn't look like an X-wing, but Brainstorm, and that's a plus in my book 

 

I'm curious, why is there a joint in the stomach. Not for transformeson, so maybe for gestalty mode   and where is me dinobots  

 

yeah i like this more than the chubby x-wing lookin' one as well but I still think the FP one edges out on top for me.

FP's got a more innovative transformation and the best looking alt mode.

I think Toyworld looks pretty alright in bot mode and this one looks kinda neat but that alt mode is kinda bleh.

surprised, really, to see this pop up if im honest. its like these guys share notes or something. be nice to not have everyone be constantly competing with eachother but i suppose variety is the spice of life. id rather have 3 versions to choose from than only one kinda meh one to get or not get

 

Depending on the price, I might go for it.

 

Oh holy crap-biscuits yes! MMC getting in to the headmaster biz too is awesome. This already looks way nicer than FP's, certainly makes Toyworlds look like a joke lol

 

A bit too chunky to be Brainstorm, in my opinion. I do like that he has the US face rather than the Japanese one, though, which is a huge downside to the FP version.

 

Better than FP's.

Strongly dislike MMC wasting its limited resources overlapping with FP/MT

Someone needs to unify the major players in the 3P game and give them direction

 

I wonder how articulated the headmaster will be, and if it can fit in the cockpit or not? Can any of the other headmasters fit in/drive the altmode?

But I guess it makes sense. If a company wants to get into the Headmasters game, best to release the one that is about to be released by other companies, so as to stay competitive. Otherwise, if they're too late, they've missed their window.

Never expected this one, MMC! Totally surprised.

 

Sticking with FP on this one. This is probably the first MMC design that I dont like. Maybe a plastic prototype may change my mind but for now 

 

Wait, what? Three Brainstorms?!

That would be great news, if I actually liked even one of them. But sadly none of them does the job I'm after, which is plain and simply just 'Masterpiece Brainstorm'. Sigh. Guess TW comes closest for the size, but I'm not a fan of the naff X-Wing KO alt mode. It's a shame that 3rd parties all seem hell bent on 'reimagined' designs these days, even when multiple versions of the same thing are already on the table.

I suppose the chances of a fourth Brainstorm are pretty slim, eh? *cough* Fanstoys *cough*  

 

Hmm. This doesn't jump out at me, but then none of the Not-Brainstorms do. He's not really a character I have any affinity towards.

If MMC were to do Skullcruncher, however...

 

I'd suggest that if MMC wants to join the Headmaster bandwagon they should make characters that aren't being battled over yet - Snapdragon & Apeface - because:
a)They'd be popular
b)They'd be awesome
c)MMC have done a good multichanger already.

This does look good, and I really rate MMC's work so far, but I'm going to keep with FP's Brainstorm for the engineering and aesthetic they have started with Code.

Plus, I love their "beast" aesthetic.

 

Well, MMC is really trying to get a big share of the market... We now have FP's, Toyworld's, and now MMCs version of BrainStorm.... It's hard to choose!  

 

I'm so very confused. I cannot see the business sense in jumping into the exact same characters that others are already working on.

 

Looks very blocky. An easy pass. I don't know how popular Pretenders were back in the day but I'd probably buy an updated Pretender assuming both figures transform in a cool way.
