Link Mother of attack suspect speaks - VID Victims of the alledged attack speak - VID I heard about this yesterday on CNN. And this case ALSO raised an interesting question. If a group of white people beat down on some unsuspecting black person/person of visible minority, it's called a hate crime. So is this case any less of a hate crime because the roles are reversed? And according to the victims, the words "I hate Whites" was uttered at the time as well If convicted, said teens (under juevenile law) are looking at either household confinement. Or juvy untill the age of 25 View latest vid update here
Oh I agree completely D_C What I find particularly interesting a.k.a. irksome is that if the roles were reversed. Those same mothers you saw speaking would easily throw out the "Hate crime" card
Always one of those things that astounds me. A crime of violence against another person generally involves some kind of hatred. But if it's cross some race/culture/financial/neighborhood/pizza preferance line it becomes a "hate crime" and is somehow worse.
I loved her, but had to kill her, but Im cool, because it was a love crime. Glad I didnt say I hate her or Id go to prison and people would be mad
I agree too. If it was the other way around those mothers would be going crazy playing the race card. I like the one video where they said "hate crime was added too late." Too late? WTF.
