According to the UK TF....there will be 8 new Generations figs. WFC Jazz is confirmed ( unofficially)....could the remaining 7 be the Dinobots and Frumble ( hasbro never officially release these ). These are the remainder figures from the BiS comic book that have not been released. The rumor also said one of the shadow look like Grimlock. ( I do know the constructicons are in the book as well, I just dont see them doing a combiner soon)...

    What do you think?

There have been solid reports from UK Toy Fair, but they don't allow photography since it's not the big press event like US Toy Fair.

This happens every year, then photos/confirmed info shows up at US Toy Fair in a couple of weeks.

I find it pretty exciting since the character designs look pretty cool. Hoping to see more than 8 and hopefully not all strictly limited to Fall of Cybertron. If it is all FOC, though, I'm still looking forward to it.

    Yup.
    No officialy, he was there.
No, they wouldnt, frenzy and rumble are scouts, generations are deluxes. Also, Hasbro would not release that many of any type of alt mode. I would expect maybe 1 or 2.

Combiners wont happen, I wouldnt go by the comic not really hard evidence there

Rumble and/or Frenzy getting a release in Generations would require Hasbro changing their approach to Generations to include any size class beyond Deluxe. The only other option would be some exclusive.

Since they haven't used the mold, I don't know if I'd rule it out completely, but I'm not anticipating it right now.

There's really no reason not to release them in cyberverse just to make people happy

WFC2 Toys are inevitable albeit like last time best to manage your expectations e.g. only a select few toys probably Prime, Meg, Grimlock with 2 or 3 others.

That would be nice if they released them as Cyberverse Commanders just to get them out there.

    Nope.

They confirmed 8 Generations figures, not 8 NEW Generations figures. As far as I'm concerned we're getting re-releases of Prime, Soundwave, Megatron, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Classics Grimlock painted to look like FOC Grimlock. And then two repaints of two of those molds. Hasbro isn't really "about" or "into" new Generations molds these days.

edit: For the record, the last time we heard confirmation of new Generations mold was summer 2010: http://www.seibertron.com/transform...ing-more-revealed-via-walmart-listings/19823/ Generations is in such a deep coma right now it's ridiculous.

Except for the fact that Cyberverse Commanders aren't Scout Class figures. They're just taller Legends.

That's just ridiculous. It has been confirmed that a prototype of FOC Jazz was seen at UK Toy Fair. Hasbro never just makes ONE mold. It's highly possible or even for certain that some of the 8 new Generations figures will be remolds or repaints, but thinking that just ONE or even ZERO new mold is being made is ridiculous.

I'm aware of that, but if Hasbro wants to fudge their own class sizes to release something, I'm hardly going to complain about it.

What about the Soundwave or was it Reflector retooled from Perceptor, the Ratbat from Scourge, Hardhead from Warpath and whatever Kup was going to be that was hinted in the instructions for those figures?

Inevitably there will be some new molds released, FOC Jazz being one of them.

As for all 8 figures being brand new molds, I doubt it. We still have yet to see a Hardhead out of Warpath, or a Scourge repaint.

I doubt they are just going to straight up rerelease Optimus and Megatron. Optimus has an all new design, as does Megatron. As for Grimlock, just repainting the original Classics mold would be insufficient, the transformations are completely different, as are the silhouettes. As for Combaticons, the only way I see them pulling it off is making them as Cyberverse figures, either as a gift set or separate.
