@All Are Dead: THANKS for pointing this out! :)

Sweet. I already have an Animated Prime and Grimlock and I consider it both (sigh) a compliment and detriment to these figures that I'm getting them again. It's a compliment because it'd be nice to have one to play with and one MISB. Also, they're such great products, it wouldn't be all that bad to have 2 of them.

But the quality control on all Transformer products in the last 5 years have been abysmal. I don't think there's been a single series yet that has had consistently good QC. My first Animated Grimlock had malfunctioning arms where the pegs were too big. I had to shave them down so that the arms go in, but you have to leave enough peg so that the arm stays in. As a result, each time the arms go into the upper arm, there's a lot of stress put onto that screw, enough so that the plastic actually bulges out. I don't anticipate my Grimlock breaking anytime soon, but I think a $12 Grimlock is a good insurance policy for the arms which may be a breakage waiting to happen.

Prime's QC problems are less obvious. It's the darn auto-morph. I can't even count the number of times I rotated the gears in a direction they didn't want to go, causing a loud "clack." Prime's waist seems like a breakage waiting to happen. If (say) a grain of sand worked its way into Prime's innards, it's game over.

Anyone know if the stores will match their online prices? I would pick up a couple in store for Toys for Tots and Christmas presents if I can get em at that price.

Awesome, I need those two. Too bad they wouldn't do site to store for them. Still, only $5 for shipping. Thanks!

Very nice, Prime is one of the few figures I love primarily because of the sculpt. Personally I haven't had a Prime that visually appealing.

Thanks. I like to keep my favorite characters sealed if at all possible. This gives me an excuse to have a bot mode of Grimlock on my desk and prime's leg transformation looks like fun.

Thanks a lot. I ordered a second Prime so that when Wingblade comes out if I can get two of them I can have one of each with and without armor.

What's the point of the deal thread if people are just going to post them here? I saw this earlier and put it in the thread.

Anyway, anyone who wants an Animated Prime, DO NOT PASS IT UP.

When I bought mine for $8 + change from walmart.com back in August, it came with the bot symbol on the left shoulder. Probably a random thing.
