I am a bit confused on why this optimus (the best version in animated) is so cheap and shelf warms. Most of the time, Optimus Primes are normally bought up pretty quick.

Perhaps Hasbro over produced a bit? Or maybe he just ain't sellin right now, what with Animated gettin' the axe and all.

Optimus didn't shelf warm here. He actually seemed pretty scarce. Lugnut was the only super common voyager.

I STILL see Animated Optimus at walmarts here. In fact I still regularly see all the animated voyergers, even Wreckgar.

Doubt you'll regret it. The arms can be finnicky because of the shoulder construction but he looks freaking awesome.

In where I live, Animated as a whole shelfwarms. I once walked into a Meijers, found some boys buying a ROTF Sideswipe. I looked in the Transformer Section, found that nearly all the ROTF stuff had been bought, and found that the Animated section was packed, not a single animated toy had been bought. Oh and one Universe Cheetor. But that didn't suprise me.

It seems that Prime shelfwarms in some areas, and is hard to find in another. He's generally a common toy here.

Well, I could use a Prime that's more in scale with the likes of Voyager Fallen, Megatron, and SS.

But I'd rather get Grimlock, I still haven't picked him up even though he was high up on my Animated list.

Edit: whoops, thought you meant ROTF Optimus, d'oh

...why does that image of Optimus look weird? Like he's way too short or something?

I'm gonna have to go grab a Grimlock. I already have one, but I need another one for a project I've been dreaming up for almost a year. I guess now is as god a time as any.

$8 Animated Voyager Prime is a heck of a deal. I'd pick up if I didn't have 2 already.

I may consider another Grimlock. He's a great figure.
