Michael updated his post about the recent fake script leak:

This is the best news since the first movie. I never understood why there had to be a comic book adaptation of the movie which is released before the actual movie. After the comic adaptation of DOTM was released the net was full of people anxious to spoil everything just for fun.
Hope they manage to keep everything under wraps this time.

I think they'll keep the prequel comics. Especially with the 4 year gap between TF3 and TF4 and the new cast. They have plenty to explain. :)

yep. like what became of Sam, Carly and whoever living who doesnt return in the sequel

Also what they did with the remains of the dead cons (of course depending if Bay is intending on bringing Megs or someone back from the death or not)

i think they'll do movie comics too, cause you can fill plotholes with that and kids love it.

also they can release it 4 weeks AFTER the movie, not problem

I hope there's a novelization. DOTM's was more enjoyable than the actual film and if I don't see TF4 (which I doubt I will) I'd like to read the novel.

Good. Why waste the money producing something no one wants? I've literally passed up tons of copies of the other movie comics at Hastings for like $2.

Thank goodness. That's what spoiled DOTM for me. I was looking at a preview on Amazon and bam, it shows the page of Sentinel killing Ironhide. Even if I didn't see it then I would've heard about it eventually because people like to go on Facebook and YouTube to try to spoil people (idiots...  ). Hope there are still prequel comics but having no adaptation of the film is definitely a great move.

I'm not reading ANYTHING before the movie. I came across a children's book that showed Sentinel betraying the Autobots before DOTM was out. :banghead:

How do you spoil a rotten egg of a film? Bay is just worried that the comics are usually better than his hack movies. I would rather read a comic than sit through his crap!

Spoiler alert! The Autobots fight bad guys and things explode a lot!.

PS - Real men don't whine about how their movie was "spoiled".

Spoilers are easy to avoid, I don't see the big deal here.

Although I completely empathize with Mr. Bay's desire to do damage control on the supposed leaked script- one I'm sure Kruger and Bay have worked hard to craft even up to page 70- but something about this smells like 'thou dost protest too much'. Regardless, I suppose it's not too late to completely rewrite their story if they had to. I doubt they would though just to maintain spoilers against a handful of vainglorious fanboys. After all, the other 95% of ticket buyers probably won't know anything about the leaked version and will certainly pay to see it anyway.

As I stated already; I really hate this rush to spoil every major movie all the time. It really sucks on a par that words can't adequately explain.

I really don't feel bad when someone 'accidentally" reads the plot synopsis.

I liked having access to the spoilers last time. Make it very easy to wait for the redbox free coupon and not give this clown a cent.

I can't wait for this final movie to be over so I can stop hearing about Bay.

No, Michael, it's a dumb fan script. Do hush.

(also, I'll be pretty amazed if there's no comic adaptation.)
