PRIME Thundercracker was released today by TOMY. It is some shops-limited item.PRIME SEEKERS(JETRON) becomes the form to keep three in Japan.
Because I photograph it from now on, the photograph of the toy introduces his background first.

The sticker to stick on a jet is two places.I stick a seal on the line of the main wing of the toy

I put three places of seals on the chest of Thundercrker.



I put a symbol on the main wing.



A black sticker is completed to a tiptoe.
Because they are wide, in the operation range of the toy, various poses are possible.

Huh... I thought he was supposed to be metallic blue?

 

Not bad. I wonder if someone will do a G1 Colored repaint of Starscream.

 

Yeah me too... Might have to cancel my preorder.

 

Looks great, Masabon-san! The lack of metallic blue is a downer but I still want this guy to complete my Seeker trio (or quartet come TFCC Slipstream's release). The chrome AM is a nice bonus. Wife already ordered this via a Japanese site so she should be getting him soon!

 

I don't think I will cancel my preorder because I do want him, metallic or not. But I'm gonna be peeved if the price doesn't go down a bit here. $55 bucks at bbts is a bit much for him to not be Metallic. I would much rather him be 38 bucks like Skywarp was.

 

I'm surprised no one else mentioned but is his crest supposed to be bent off to the right like that?

 

looks like another case of TakTomy making the promo pics look a lot better than the actual.

 

looks cool but i think that Thundercracker had to be different from Starscream in Prime continuity

 

It's a rubber piece, and the bend is not uncommon. My Skywarp had similar issues. Dunking it in warm water then straightening it out would probably help.

I am not at all surprised that TC is not metallic. Takara has been really over doing the photoshop lately.

 

I didn't want TC at first, but the idea of having a full set of seekers in the Prime line is more and more appealing as time goes on.

I don't think this version of Starscream lends itself well for Thundercracker and Skywarp repaints. Just seems way too specific for his character.

 

Yea... the overshopped metallic finish on the promo pics are quite deceptive...

Doesn't look that bad, but eh... definite pass. I see the bent head crest is an issue regardless of deco too... bleh.
