Meh, old woman giving birth is no longer news. Tell me when a 100-year old gives birth to twins I might be more shocked then.
60 years old? That can't have been a difficult birth. Hell, the babies have probably had to brace themselves to stay in everytime she's gone to the toilet for the last three months. [/Frankie Boyle]
Wait a minute... didn't some old woman from India give birth to a child a while back? You know what I don't get about women past the age of 40 giving birth to children? Who's going to take care of the child should the parents, who are old enough to be the child's grandparents, happen to die?
She doesn't speak any English, no Canadian doctor would perform the invitro, so she goes to India, gets it done, and now expects Canadian tax payers to foot the bill? Toss her back to India, she's just a leach on the system.
The real concern with older women having children is that the risk of Down's Syndrome in the child increases dramatically. By age 40 it goes up to an approximate 40% risk, so I hear.
Its about time that old people serve more of a purpose than farting and being hilarious to make fun of.
