So I picked up Prime and Megs today, and in total spent almost a half hour getting them both out of their boxes. This was by far the worst twist tie mess Ive ever had to deal with.

I understand why you dont want them to shift, these figures are a little more fragile than the average TF. But the act of getting them out almost was causing more damage then shifting ever would. With Prime the some of the ties had no ends to them and the way the bubble is they are buried in a corner where you have no room for fingers to maneuver. In the course of working on them, Primes arm and Megs leg unattached.

What a pain. Anyone else having as bad of a time with this as me?

Question - how easy is it to get them back in packaging (sans twisties)? I like to keep everyting in packaging for display, but I like them free too!

Yeah when I was done, my Prime only had his right leg still attached to him. Prime should have been designed with sturdier plastic.

oh and Ultraprime, he should be pretty easy to get back in package if you don't put the twist ties back in.

Try using wire cutters, ....If you use a smidgion of caution it is easy and will not damage your T.F.'s

A good part of nail clippers will take good care of the ties.

Twisties need to bow before the greatness of my wire snips. Primus got out of his box and into planet mode in record time, all thanks to the snips!

Same here. If it's too many (like this case sounds)
I usualy clip the small ties and keep the long ones.
Usually you can put them back with a tie around their waist. And some optional extras for support.

About to open them and going to try and keep everything nice for putting them back, will see how it goes I guess.

(GF Primus was a pain trying to get all the ties back around him)

Nail clippers are your friend. I've never understood why some people spend a half hour doing what has never taken me more than 2 or 3 minutes. And that was for Unicron, who had like 400 twist ties.

My Megatron keeps falling apart when I tf him,and he wouldn't stay together when transformed.
Unless future titaniums are more sturdy,I forsee many a broken figure.

What floppy messes these things are. I spent a while taking Prime out of the Box only to put him right back in. Damn thing falls apart when you barely touch him and the legs don't lock on mine at all to allow him to stand. I hate them. On the plus side, they look cool in the box.

Yeah Megs has no poseability in his legs...Some of the promo pics show him in somewhat of a stance, but i'll be damned if i can get him to stand anyway other than straight up.

Sounds like I might be taking these back once I get around to opening them...they sounded cool in theory (like most things)...

My Meg's arms fell off taking him out of the package, but he was fine after I snapped the arms back into place. As for going back into the package, he went fine and displays a-ok.
