Well, you can want all you like. I want 77 million dollars. However, I have provided a pair of pics for those interested as a closeup to the head section. He's got a Prime like head, with a grilled area over the faceplate.
Got mine along with a few others today. Awesome Titanium, he's definately one of the better ones. I wish the rear halves of his treads pegged into something though, they seem to flop about a little in vehicle mode. I still like the big guy, though. He'll probably look good with the Classics too.
Dude, I was just saying I wanted a close-up. DBAD. I got this guy two days ago. Great bot mode, great Alt. mode, one of the biggest 6" Titaniums to date (YES!), posable, great detail, and I dig the one-of-a-kind faction symbol. 10/10
He's one of the origional 13 TF's and turned evil when he found out about Unicron. That's about it. He may of been the one to release Unicron from his prison, but I'm not sure. Peace out.
I never really liked the Titanimums that much, I heard the Prime had arm problems and the Megatron just falls apart right out the packaged, not to mention the wings on the Jetfire cant even stay on right in bot mode. Once I heard about all that I decided to pass on the Titaniums.
You heard right about Optimus and Megatron, but Jetfire's backpack can be clicked into place, eliminating the floppiness.
O i see, so im guessing hes from the comic books righT? THey should have definately had him in the movie.. i mean they had all the original transformers or most of them at least.
I have loose joints where the treads fold in half to become his backpack, so when he's standing up, one of the short pieces hangs back a bit. it doesnt' affect his appearance except from the side, but still an annoyance. I love his transformation, his bulk, and his heft. he has great articulation. I wish the guns weren't rubbery though. -Andy
What people mean by "The Fallen is one of the original 13 transformers" means that in the Dreamwave continuity, he was one of the first transformers ever created. He did not exist before Dreamwave did War Within vol.2
Got the Fallen today along with Titanium Rodimus, Titanium Soundwave (don't laugh), and BW Dinobot (yay HTS sales). The fallen, aside from a rather unsighly fingersmudge in his paint on one of his forearms (that's REALLY visible in alt mode, blargn), and his supermegalosefloppy right tread flap, is just glorious. He's every bit as imposing as he looked in pictures, and just looks brutal. I don't fold his panels back and flip the loose panels inward... it keeps the floppy one from drooping. Supermegaawesome aside from those wonky issues. I'm wondering if there's a decent way to stiffen up those loose flaps or devise some way to secure them in alt mode.
It seems that lately a lot of the TFs have become somewhat redundant. same autobots, same decepticons just reiterations. That is precisely why I like this one so much. Its different, but in a great way. New character, unique look and awesome details. Truly one of the best TFs, not just in the titanium line.
The Fallen's bio from the back of his box is excellent: It gives you a real insight into his character that wsn't even really present in the comics. Also part confirms a personal theory of mine that all the original 13 were made as a part of some grand design. Either way, his morbid obsession with the end of all things makes him a very interesting villain.
