Was lucky enough to score this guy today. Here's what I think!

*The paintjob consists of a strange black enamel. I definitely get the impression of "fire" from that detailing, which is what they were going for.

*Fallen has a large amount of heft to him, particularly in the legs.

*Articulation is great. No floppyness, same sort of leg-ratchets as Thundercracker. Cannons can be arm-mounted or handheld.

*Tank Mode is indefinitely better than their last attempt at a tank. Turrent with twin guns has 360 degree rotation. The armor-plates on the rear section aren't held down with anything, which is odd.

Fallen is a tremendous new entry, and a historic comic recration.

    Pics will be uploaded ASAP.

I'm looking forward to this guy. I just hope the Titanium distribution gets better around here...I haven't even seen the Soundwave/Rodimus wave yet.

I look forward to your pics!

I've got one on preorder with BBTS. As soon as my other order arrives, I'm going to ship this one. Give me a week or two and I'll weigh in with my thoughts. I'll say this much now though, it's great to have the Fallen represented by a toy at last.

Heck, I've never heard of the character before, and I think I'll be getting this guy. Gives off a real good "ultimate evil" vibe, he does...

Got mine today, along with Rodimus. Both are great, but the Fallen is supurb. I'll have a gallery of him up pretty soon.

This guy is a rock. I don't mean a brick, I mean a rock. He's nice and solid, and stands and poses well. Articulation is neck swivel and rotate up, dual shoulder hinges (Like a pseudo ball joint) elbow hinge, forearm swivel, wrist swivel. Waist swivel, hips dual hinge, knee hinge, knee swivel, and toes hinge.

One thing I don't like is that they cheaped out on the guns, which are hollow on one side, so for transformation you take off and switch the guns to maintain the aesthetics. I'm also not that terribly fond of the flame pattern, and I may black it out on mine. Transformation is simple and rather intuitive, though the directions leave out the fact that you can swing the head around to better hide it, and that in robot mode, the undertreads can slide up flush so they don't swing back down on their own. While his fist holes are sized to accomodate him being able to hold his gun, it would've been nicer had he had the universal sized fist hole. (I would've liked to have given him Cybertron GF VP's red/orange sword.)

Honestly, this is probably my favorite transformer to have rolled along in a long time, and if it weren't for Classics Ramjet (A surprise jewel), would be my only favorite figure of the last year and a half or so. I have little doubt that this will remain as one of my favorite TF's ever.

I love how everything about him, with the overall blocky construction, knight head, the nicks and dings detailing him, and his big "blunderbuss" wrist cannons, says "old."
