people STILL play? damn, it is pointless to me, those servers are crap

 

I never experienced much a problem but I feel for those that did. Hoping to finally Prime now though

 

WFC 5x XP Boost

High Moon just announced through Facebook that they will be permanently boosting XP gains in multiplayer to fives times faster than the current rate. Applies to PS3/360/PC.

Well....if anyone out there is still left that hasn't maxxed out their levels. Hell, now I'm tempted to go back and just max all my Prime levels.

 

Wow, that's awesome news. I can finally boost up to Prime mode and get that gold trophy.

 

I maxed out all my levels but never actually activated Prime mode yet. I wanted to enjoy the perks of the top levels for a while. At least this will help me level back up whenever I decide to go Prime.

when you kill an enemy +250xp instead of +50xp FOREVER

maybe it's a sign the servers will close down soon  

 

Might actually make it worth playing now.

 

Yay! Now I can max my Soldier and Leader classes (Already prime and 25 for the other 2...)

 

good news for my scout and soldier....

 

he guys, is it me or does it seem like there are a lot of cheaters playing war for cybertron now, must be using a modded xbox or something, this guy sergeant monkey went 32-0 three straight games, during the game I watch him play and he kept getting one hit kills, which is impossible, and he had a shield all the time. Anyone else encounter stuff like this?

 

There've been a bunch of annoying cheaters in the PC version for a while now.

Standard types are:
1) Permanent impenetrable overshield
2) Absurdly impossible highly lethal rapid fire for Fusion Cannon and jet missile
3) One hit kills, even with Neutron Assault Rifle from a distance

 

It's so sad. What's sadder is that these guys probably think they're good. What ever happened to actual skill?

Here's a story. I re-bought ROTF yesterday and I had trouble getting my head around the controls. Eventually it was me vs 2 dudes and one was G1 Optimus and his weapons are SO overpowered while another was Ironhide spamming his grenades. The next round it was me and another vs the Ironhide spammer and I was Bumblebee and kicked his ass.

In another match someone was a Seeker and spammed rockets so I literally died every time I spawned. Then eventually the two on the other team both became Sunstorm and spammed flamethrower so I overheated in every encounter and died every few seconds.

A guy on the other team later became Jazz and spammed his secondary weapon. So it ended up being 8 - 23 (or 43)...

Then they became Protectorbot. My skills came into play when we were at the same level and I got my kills up. What I'm basically saying is that players these days lack skill and resort to lame tactics.

 

I think cheating in an online multiplayer game is a lot like trolling. Basically, ruining everyone else's fun for the lulz.

 

I'm on a weird achievement binge of hitting 100%, something I've never felt before. With this happening, those "Combined level of X" achievements might make me try to 100% War for Cybertron now...

 

That name sounds familair.

I saw this happen all the time, which is one of the many reasons why I can't bring myself to play this game again, even with 5x XP. As much as I loved playing my scout, I primed and got out of Dodge. Stuff like this happens a lot on CoD on Xbox too, at least with Modern Warfare 2 because its not watched as carefully.

 

That's good. I need to get to Prime Mode so I can get the platinum for this game.
