We've received a 5 Page Preview of Transformers: Evolutions Hearts of Steel #3 from IDW Publishing:
Starscream/Boss Hogg teamup FTW!
So who's the interior artist on this issue? It sure isn't Guido! And didn't issue 2 come out like two weeks ago?
I also noticed Starscream's design is different than the Starscream on the cover and from last issue. It's based on one of the earlier sketches.
What's up with comic book companies not being able to hold a consistent artist?
Is that Rumble? He's HUGE!
OH NOS TEH SIZORS R WRONG!!!! THIS COMIC IS TEH SUX!!!
Not Rumble. Frenzy.
I think there are 2 different "evolutions" of starscream. 1 is the "dragon" and the second is the plane, but even the plane evolves after they find the plans for the "Flying Machines"....it does seem that no. 2 came out like 2 weeks ago...and I think that's "The Astrotrain"
...INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH RAVAGE! Woooo!
OH NOES! TEH TRANZFORM3RS LUK DIFR3NT YOU R RAPING MY CHILDHOOD!!!oneone11!!!
Damn it, why dont U.K Comic Shops sell TF comics, I really want to read this series, but I dont want to import the comics.
Squawkbox actually has a speaking role in this issue. AND a cover.
Uh, they do. Although obviously each store only orders stock from Diamond that it wants -- if customers don't ask for a new title and it's not something like Civil War, chances are it won't get picked up for the shelves.
If you need back issues or a mail order sub: http://www.oneshallstand.com/
BTW It's not Guido, it's a cover artist. Apparently he couldn't make deadline. He'll be back for #4.
But it's really glaring in spots. Non speaking characters are not easter egg cameos but just genericons.
One spot has Autobot train cars being pulled by a Decepticon engine.
A few shots where the perspective is just wacky, like Starcreams propellers going in 6 different directions.
It's not BAD, it's just the bar is so raised and besides without a physical model it must have been really hard for the other artists to visualize.
RIB and FIR, you unwashed heathen!
RIBFIR, oh HELL no.
Very odd that Starscream went from thick metal wings a bat-wing type propellers in the last issue to cloth wings and conventional propellers in this issue. I guess that's just how the new artist does things...
Turns out there's two artists on this issue, and they each draw Starscream differently. His wing design changes within the same issue. I can't believe the editor didn't catch that.
Separate names with a comma.
