I liked Freespace's escort missions, the things you where protecting where bigger than you and had bigger guns
i was an angry blame everyone but urself type gamer as a kid if i lost a life or got beat id...well id beat the shite out of whoever was next to me. i grew out of it and moved that evil to board games risk namely beat up a dude cause he took my existence then gloated about it.. ahhh GOOD TIMES but seriously i did eventually grow out of that phase. im a much calmer zen like game player now ahhhh
It takes a lot in video games to make me angry, and so far only 2 games have pushed me over the edge: Bloodrayne and Kingdom Hearts. Bloodrayne had such terrible gameplay and I couldn't beat a certain level involving Nazi's with mechs. The combination of the stupid plot, characters, and getting killed by cheap enemies made me pop the Gamecube open and toss the game across the room. In Kingdom Hearts I was running around an area for an hour and couldn't find the exit due to the game's poor camera. I lost it and grabbed the game and once again, threw it across the room.
I'll get frustrated sometimes. But then I just decide to shut the game off and walk away for a bit if it's pissing me off that much. Some of the videos were gold though.
I'll cuss, with such a sailor's mouth I have, when something goes wrong or I fuck up on something hard/long. In SSB64, I'll jokingly cuss at my friends when something kills me, but these people are just insane
One time I was playing Mike Tyson's Punch out, WAAAAAY abck in the day. He was beating me so bad, I threw my controller at the TV and by some weird button mash or miracle It knocked out Mike Tyson. I swear. Also "the End" in MGS3 cause quite a temper tantrum trying to beat him the first time. I didn't know about any of the special tricks you could do either, like with the map etc.
I could have almost been positive that SkySharks Xbox 360/COD4 microphone echo tantrum would have been on here.
I never throw a tantrum whenever I get killed in a game. Just the occassional "holy crap" and the finger at the game screen.
my brother punched out my gameboy and smashed the screen while playing super mario land. i was about 10 and i had just finished saving for months and bought the thing maybe 3-4 months before he did that. i cried. oh yeah, and as for chocolate milk kid, i would've walked in and yanked the power bar from the back of his tv the moment he started lip like that with me. if there's one thing i can't stand from kids it's backtalk. it nevber works out in their favor... unless spending the rest of the day doing demeaning household chores is their idea of a good time. nothing shuts a kid up like forcing them to do laundry.
Whoah. That's gotta be fake. No one could get that worked up over a game right? ...right? Anyway, I lol'd. Chocolate Milk kid needs to have the console taken away, and ejected out of a fifth storey window if necessary.
When I was younger i'd swear and throw the controller. Fighting games were more my style/preference the down side to that is the cpu always had that one combo or attack that managed to get me. Today I rant for 5 seconds then try again, to me losing a number of times never mattered so long as I prevailed once. Never did like the thought of quitting.
I try to control my temper. I used to yell a lot and throw stuff. My parents would get onto me. Now that I got my Wii, I've been just shutting it off.
