I really, really just want a new Voyager Ratchet.

 

The 4th Leader will hopefully be Megatron and then the 5th Leader would be Shockwave. Like people have said, Megatron never misses out on getting Leader class toy so he is pretty much assured to get one. The 5th Leader is the one we should be talking about, will it be Shockwave or another character?

 

My thoughts:

When the movie comes out, Hasbro will "surprise" us with the announcement of the final movie line more leaders to come out later this year. TFP doesn't sound like it's getting any leaders in the initial waves so this actually isn't too far fetched. I think we're going to see:

1-Megatron! I think he'll have a long vehicle mode like Jetfire but the cab will still be smaller than ROTF Prime. He'll probably be in scale with Sentinel though. He'll come with his fusion cannon and shotgun!

2-Optimus Prime! He'll be the Jetwing Prime mold but without the huge backpack but some sort of big mechtech. Maybe the shield and swords? If he has the buster cannon, I'll be very happy. Still hoping for a movie Prime with a transforming face.

What I think would be neat is if Hasbro redesigned the figure from the ground up and gave him a backpack like Leader Bee. Smaller than Jetwing Prime's pack but similar in design, maybe transformable into a shield? And, like be, they put all the electronics in the backpack so they can free up the transformation.

3-Shockwave. Let's face it,

Ratchet would be cool if he had both a saw AND the auto-morphing cannon. Loved the 1st voyager, always wish it retained the gun that the proto had.

 

Ok everyone, just take a deep breath and relax for a second. Now that your mind is clear you will realize Shockwave isn't happening.

What will happen is they will throw us a curve ball and give us a leader Blackout.

The next Leader will most definitely be DOTM Leader Class Megatron!!

I doubt we will get a 5th Leader..If we do Itll be LC Rusting Ironhide or LC Stealth Bumblebee.

 

Leader Megs, then Shockwave, then I predict either Ratchet or Blackout or some other guys(I see potential good leader molds in Long Haul, Bonecrusher, Sideswipe or even Hatchet  )

Could be wrong though...

 

I have a feeling that before the year is out we'll have a Leader Megatron, but in a future subline (Like HFTD) we'll get a Leader Ratchet and a Leader Shockwave (But that's me being hopeful)

 

Megatron seems to be the most likely to get chosen. While his Voyager Toy doesn't have the shotgun, now would be a perfect time to make a sweet mechtech boomstick for Leader Megs.

Shockwave is also a good candidate, but I don't think he has priority over Megs. If there was a 5th leader however, he would most def be the runner up.

Ultimate Prime is not a leader class toy nor is he advertised by Hasbro as such. Besides, if there was a rumor, it wouldn't be for a toy that was already released.

Hasbro won't release Jetwing Prime stateside. They already have a big flying Optimus on the shelves.

Realistically speaking, Ratchet doesn't stand much of a chance.

 

I am hoping for Ratchet.

 

personally i think it will be a repaint of ultimate optimus, with out the trailer, OR a repackage of the voyager optimus with the trailer.

we know hasbro doesn't like making con' leader classes any more. and we know hasbro loves making optimus prime's. so that's my guess. most likely it will be an optimus prime. OR a repaint of bumblebee, probably black, hasbro likes black bees  

 

would love a megs in leader proportions

 

My first choice would be Ratchet for my HA set up. He's the last missing piece.

My second choice, and the far more likely one is Megatron. I like Megatron's look in TF3, I just hope they do the character justice this time. My guess is that it will be Megatron.

While I would buy it, I don't expect a Shockwave much at all.

I would love to see Shockwave get the leader treatment, however I really don't think he was that interesting as a character. He rides around in a cybertronian wormy drill.

MEGATRON has my vote with or without the trailer is fine by me.

 

It will probably end up being another Optimus Prime... I just know it. I mean that's who kids look up to. It's our hero..

I have no idea but I really hope Ratchet, to go with the alternator sized H.A and Leaderclass Ironhide.

 

Probably Optimus. But since they're releasing Ultimate Op maybe the Gods will smile on us and we'll get a Leader Megatron. I really can't see Shockwave getting a Leader Class toy, the Fallen did more than Shocky and he never got a larger toy.
