Even though it's the Blackout character, they've scaled it closer to Grindor from ROTF (even though it's pretty clear Grindor and Blackout should be the same character, so the studio just made him bigger for some reason which makes no sense). Just roll with it.

It looks great so far. I just hope it's not a brick and you can actually pose it well

I'll be curious to see on that front. Optimus is quite posable (but his inner bones are DMK), Scorponok really isn't. I wonder if that's why Megatron is taking so long. maybe they're actively problem solving. I'm getting Megatron either way- but he'll probably be a strong indicator of what to expect from the line. Scorpok was really their first attempt at a total scratch build (and he looks fantastic).

I'll probably get this guy either way. I actually managed to get my hands on a high end scratch build (leader sized) that's pretty great, but this will put it to shame (even if the posability is poor). Now I'm debating if I should be selling now for fear the value will tank once this is out there. He is the 2nd most expensive custom i own.

It's my main concern, cause we've seen him in the same animation model pose with his arms in that weird position every single time. I'm not expecting Maketoys Cross Dimension levels of articulation, but I do expect the standard action figure joints with enough range in them, especially in the legs. I want to pose Blackout actually doing things. It'll be interesting indeed

I do see one issue here. This is the first time we've seen him and he's probably quite fragile at this stage. I wouldn't worry that they haven't posed him yet.

But, like I said- Megatron will be a big indicator on how good posability will be.

Does he have the pop-out chest cannon? I hope he has the popout chest cannon, even if I wont buy this, I guess just to see it implemented as a feature in a "figure."

yes, I do know that. 4EVER doesn't sell anything in any online store that I've found. maybe you get lucky and find something on ebay for an astronomical amount but that is it. got someone putting this much time an effort into creating a product, they sure seem to not do much to sell it.

If it's included, it would likely be a swap out feature rather than a pop out feature. But I'm just guessing. I have no idea what they'll do on this.
