Don't know if anyone else saw this yet but Maketoy launched a website.

    MAKETOY

They have pics of the powerglide, seaspray, and g2 prime upgrade kit that I think was already seen at botcon and a teaser for a new Devastator!!!!

I'm very glad I have HftD Seaspray and DOTM Powerglide. No offense to you G1 fans but they look AWFUL. Seaspray not as much but I vastly prefer the updated designs from the movie inspired lines.

That G2 Trailer though....my god I must have it!

Just came in to post this as well. The color prototypes look cool for the minibots. I'm wondering whats up with that Devestator teaser.

Also, apparently there has been confusion that Fansproject is making these items. The actual fact is that Fansproject has been helping the designer of MakeToys, and volunteered to bring their prototypes to BotCon. Due to miscommunication, people ended up thinking the actual figures would be by Fansproject. When in fact, they are by the new Japanese 3rd party group, MakeToys.

Okay, NotSeaspray's a yes (sorry, Spray, but I think this one has the better balance, which beats your lateral bicep and yellow faceplate), NotPowerglide's a no (curling iron elbows and what looks like sideways knees), the G2 Prime upgrade I couldn't care less about and I'll have to see more of the NotDevs before I choose between it and Hercules, though Hercules so far has the edge with how the lower arms are formed (I prefer the tread look...makes the forearms look less tiny).

They need to get some protos up for maketoy's notdev soon. I don't know how well it would go over if we don't at least get something substantial to differentiate em in a month or a couple when we're 1-2 bots deep in Hercules.

Price, though...that could be a kicker.

This is awesome! Those minibots look fantastic. If the Devestator is anything like as good then my wallet is going to be screaming for mercy again!

Does that Powerglide remind anyone else of the Jizatoys pseudo licensed offering?

Looks like we're getting two options for Devastator.

If this happens, then it better be NotScrapper and NotMixmaster they release first. That way, even if there's the realization that FP's NotDevs is good enough for a purchase, then we still have the joke that we'd be knee-deep in Hercules at that point. :D

Thanks for the info: powerglide really looks great. Wondering whether will "devastator" be similar to Fansproject Bruticus or would it be a complete new set of 6 constructicons...

That powerglide is definitely a pass for me. Everything else looks great.

Man, that Devastator teaser is looking great! Really hoping he's a more G1 cartoon accurate Devy, complete with purple chest shield and slimmer proportions, rather than the 'roided out beefy look of the IDW comics that TFC's Hercules is trying to go for. Also hope he's on the same scale as FansProject's Crossfire Colossus not-Bruticus; I really want to have those two duke it out as they did in the episode Starscream's Brigade!

I'll probably end up getting Powerglide just for the nostalgia factor alone; his alt mode is cute but the gigantism-esque proportions of his head sculpt compared to the rest of his body do bother me a bit. It's probably the case that FP and MakeToys are two completely different 3rd party production companies, but if MakeToys' quality is anything like FP's, then count me a fan!

Going by just that not-Dev teaser picture, he appears to be more G1 cartoon accurate, with slimmer proportions and even has what looks like his signature chest shield.

"Giant" definitely interests me more than TFC's Hercules, while nice looking is rather on the beefy side going for the IDW comic book look (sans chest shield as far as anyone knows). G1 cartoon show accuracy > IDW comic book accuracy, in my personal view. XD

This might be what differentiates the two not-Devastators, I'm thinking. That and possible scale too. Imagine if "Giant" was the same scale as FP Bruticus! Now that would be awesome, and much more affordable to boot!

But this is purely speculation and wishful thinking on my part (ie., disclaimer alert, heh).
