Dammit I don't need this mold a third time, especially when I didn't really like it all that much the first 2 times. Why does it have to look so good?

 

I just notice his Mech-tech gun is a retooled version of Topspin's gun.

 

I got mine today, he's pretty cool.

 

Color blocking really makes this one pop.

But i'm happy with Thrust.

 

Looks great, but I don't think I'll need it. I've got both Breakaway and Thrust..Breakaway looks a bit goofy, Thrust is awesome.

 

Just did the head mod, wow, that changes the mold for the best! Completely new figure now will full head articulation!

 

A lot better looking than I first thought!

 

Although I like the mold, I'm not feeling this repaint.

I would've liked a better colour scheme reference to G1 Air Raid in a 'realistic' style.

The 'problem' with Air Raid is : black jet top, white jet belly - white/red robot, black back....and

.....the Breakaway mold has quite a lot of jet surface on his robotmode.

 

Its not G1 Air Raid though so this is acceptable. I think the plane looks plain though.

 

Looks much better than Breakaway and Thrust! Looking forward to this one...

 

Man, those colors make that Thrust head look downright sinister.

However, isn't this an offscreen / HFTD exclusive kind of character ? Even HFTD Dirge and Bludgeon reference their sources better..imo.

I think that Air Raid's a video game character. There was a RoTF version of him in the game (One not based on the Breakaway mold) and I remember hearing there may be one in the TF3 game.

 

is air raid going to actually be in the movie?

never got breakaway because of the colors. When I did get thrust it was a TJMAXX for pennys.

When I finally did mess with thrust, I was amazed at how GOOD that mold is. It has a near flawless plane mode. Besides a rear retractable gear...its almost as good as a transformer can get in airplane mode for a deluxe class.

I too took my thrust apart and seen a little connector..did a lil mod, and the head pops up way better.

I LOVE this mold, and this new color scheme looks very nice. It looks very CONVENTIONAL, and I like that. with the ports under the wings...this may be worth getting if it comes stateside.

I DO think there could have been a better choice for the mechtek weapon tho...but..I think thats the case in alot of the DOTMs that I see
